Matthew Duchesne is a digital media expert, specializing in audience development and social media advertising strategy. He is currently the Director of Paid Social at Vox Media, managing the company’s social revenue streams, leading social ad strategy and product development, and driving social-first program sell-through in partnership with Vox Media’s sales team. In his seven years at Vox Media, he has also managed tech and luxury paid social campaigns for advertisers including Google, Amazon, Samsung, LVMH, Dior and Prada, and he currently oversees a team of seven social media strategists, including day-to-day task oversight and career development.

With extensive media and creative agency experience, Duchesne is an expert in assessing and meeting social advertising needs. At Spark Foundry he worked as a social strategist for advertisers within the tech, CPG and retail verticals. At Havas, he spearheaded brand marketing efforts and community management for the company’s global social accounts.

He graduated with a BA in Journalism from Webster University in 2015. As editor-in-chief of The Ampersand, the university’s nationally award-winning student-produced magazine, he drove a successful rebranding of the publication and was awarded a College Magazine Gold Crown from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. The Society of Professional Journalists named Duchesne a finalist in the Best Feature Writing category in 2015.

Duchesne lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. He enjoys PC and tabletop gaming, and is currently obsessed with titles like Baldur’s Gate 3, World of Warcraft, Valorant and Gloomhaven. He also has a green thumb, and loves caring for his garden and houseplants.
